Physical Environment

Wealth2k® leases data center space at two separate facilities. Our Primary hosting location resides at Internap Network Services in Boston, MA. A Second facility is located at Databank in Dallas, TX. Both locations are secure and staffed 24/7/365. Only authorized Wealth2k® personal are allowed access to our equipment. Each person must have a key card, photo ID and pass a handprint reader to gain access. Both facilities feature robust power systems design, and aggressive security.

Backup and Disaster Recovery Strategy

Wealth2k® carefully adheres to the following guidelines to ensure high availability of its data and services:

• Wealth2k® servers and network is monitored 24/7/365 to ensure maximum availability
• Wealth2k® uses 100% IBM X-Series servers with the proper warranties. All servers have been configured for high availability and performance utilizing RAID
• Wealth2k® uses Critical DNS service which guarantees 100% uptime and global availability
• BACKUP PLAN:
• Critical data is stored on our SAN device and asynchronously replicated to our Dallas, TX facility
• Wealth2k® also adheres to its own disk based backup strategy running daily backups and archiving to tape as necessary
• Our database is backed to disk every 5 minutes throughout the day
• Wealth2k® maintains deployment documents that describe the necessary steps to restore our application in the event of a major disaster.

The DataBank network: AS13767

Our network architecture utilizes Foundry and Cisco carrier class routing and switching equipment to provide a Highly Redundant and Highly Available Multi-Homed Internet Aggregation Hub. We utilize Foundry RX16 and Cisco 6500 series switches and routers in our network to provide up to 3.84 Tbps of switching and routing capacity. This coupled with multiple Gigabit trunks from multiple Internet service providers makes DataBank's IP Hub one of the most robust in the industry.
